Market Day Digest

  • Market management tent opens from 6.30am
  • Bump-in and out time: 6.30am – 4.30pm
  • Trading Hours: 8.30am – 3.00pm • Tables, marquees, trolleys etc. are given out from 6.30am onwards and not before.
  • You need to have something on your stall allocation no later than 8.30am. If you do not, then the stall will be deemed vacant and open to reallocation. If you are running late to the Market, you can text, do not phone, the Market management on 0452 367 991 to inform them that you are still coming, and they will hold your allocation.
  • Stall size – Outside (gravel/green/eat st/gourmet) 3m x 3m; Tunnel – 3m x 2.7m
  • Tables: $10 per table (You must return your table in good condition by 3.30pm). The table dimensions are L: 183cm x B: 79cm x H: 79cm (approx).
  • Trolley hire: FREE (for 20 minutes only) You must put your stall # in the trolley list when collecting the trolley.
  • Marquee: $40 (You must return in good condition by 3.30pm). Pre – booking for marquee is essential. If you bring your own marquee, please bring your own sandbags (No pegging on the ground allowed). Marquee size max 3m x 3m. Marquees not allowed inside the tunnel.
  • Public Liability Insurance is compulsory for all stallholders and is $20 per market (Insurance can be booked online when reserving your stall). If you have your own policy, you must bring a copy of it with you on the day of the Market.
  • Power Supply – Kirribilli markets do not provide power supply to stalls except for Eat Street Food stalls & Gourmet Food Stall# J5 – J10. Power point specification: 15A, 250V and 50Hz
  • We do not rent out clothing racks.
  • The Kirribilli Markets NO LONGER provides Charity bins for the disposal of unsold stock. You MUST take all unsold stock with you. Coat hangers are not allowed and should be put in the red garbage bins instead.
  • Waitlist – If you haven’t been able to book online, you have the alternative option of coming early to the Market on the day and placing your name on the day waitlist. At 8.45am we see which booked stalls haven’t been occupied and then reallocate them to those on the day waitlist. This is a first come first served system so the earlier you come to put your name down the better your chance of getting a stall. Please note there is no guarantee that you will get a stall on the day.
  • Please be aware that glass mirrors are banned from being used on the green & gravel areas of the market due to the possibility of breakage. This rule is strictly policed.
  • The Luna Park parking ticket is an all-day single exit ticket. Maximum vehicle height is 1.80 mts. The price is $30. Please collect the pre-paid exit ticket from the market management tent on the day. There are limited number of tickets available for purchase on the day.
  • Loading/unloading zone is at the Burton Street (see Eat Street in the map). Operating hours 6.30-8.30am and again 3.00-4.30pm. You have 15 minutes to load/unload.
  • Traffic – Do not double park in Alfred Street South. This is illegal and will cause traffic congestion. Do not turn right into Burton Street from Alfred Street South. Please go to the roundabout at Lavender Street and return down Alfred Street South to turn left into Burton Street. Do not queue in the bus stop at the head of Burton Street on Alfred Street South. If you are unloading in Burton Street, you have 15 minutes to unload your stock and leave the street. Your co-operation in these matters will greatly help in the smooth operation of the market.
