Born in Paris, Isabelle Boreham studied art and textile design and worked in Paris, London and New York before settling in Sydney. She founded the studio La Source Australia in 2010 and her daughter Melanie joined the team in 2013 after completing a Masters of Fine Arts. Known for its original colours and its joy for nature, the studio creates limited edition artist prints, linen tea towels, tote bags, greeting cards and calendars that celebrate the rich Australian landscape with its gorgeous flowers and birds, and Isabelle's French heritage. Ms. Bun Mee
Vietnamese street food is certainly having a moment. With its fresh ingredients and slap in the face flavour, Ms. Bun Mee brings the humble vietnamese banh mi to the streets of Kirribilli. This mother/daughter/son trio offers the traditional banh mi with all the trimmings (pickled carrot, pate, secret seasoning sauce), topped off with their famous succulent crispy pork. They also offer rice paper rolls and vermicelli noodle bowls...for the more health conscious.
Kaboodle Designs' quirky collection includes handmade embellished pocket watches, necklaces, earrings and rings and has been created by recycling vintage pieces and/or combining them with new parts. The collection is full of adorable treasures and bits and bobs, each design is inspired by something different and the collection ranges from romantic and french inspired charms, gorgeous cameos, shabby chic fabric, pocket watches and lockets to an eclectic mix of charms sure to be making conversations when worn. Helen is a popular local artist, designer and maker. She likes to work in porcelain as she loves its pale, delicate and often temperamental characteristics. Helen's dog and cat sugar shovels are particularly popular, each one created totally individually with love and a sense of humour. Joy's fascination with succulents all started with one Blue Echeveria Glauca given to her by a friend as a thankyou gesture for helping her clean up her garden. "I was not very familiar with succulents when I started, but I was amazed at how beautiful and unique they are," Joy recalls. The different shapes, sizes and colours inspired her creative eyes to make potted arrangements. "The succulents’ ability to thrive in any conditions was unbelievable. I got hooked and since then I have been collecting and making new arrangements from different varieties". Joy's collections are available in vintage and ordinary pots for everyone to enjoy.
